A visit to Bratteklev takes you on a journey back in time, where you can experience the maritime history of Southern Norway up close. The stories are enhanced by sensory impressions. Welcome to a discovery of the past, where every object tells an exciting story.

Exhibitions

In the period 1868 - 1924, sailing ships and steamships were built at Bratteklev. The shipyard slip, complete with its own sawmill, smithy and production buildings, has been preserved almost as it was when it was in use. This provides a unique setting for experiences, information exchange and the sharing of knowledge.
